As a main set to your workout, try out this fitness assessment test as administered by the US Army, US Navy, and US Air Force.  There is a reason why the military has been the master of push-ups, sit-ups, and running for all these year – these exercises will get you lean and fit, ready for action!

Warm-up:

Light jog

Dynamic Warm-up

 

Main Set:

1.5 mile Run for time

Max amount of push-ups in 2 minutes

Max amount of sit-ups in 2 minutes.

 

Cool Down:

Stretch
