logoSpartan Race is one of the fastest growing active racing organizations in the world. We aren’t a “mud” run we are an international racing organization that promotes athleticism, an active lifestyle, and a bringing together a community of people across the globe. A community comprised of some pretty amazing women. Danelle Ballangee, professional adventure racer ran with us in New York. Lindsey Scherf, indoor track record holder ran with us and won first female in Georgia. Mothers, daughters, wives, cancer survivors, athletes and non-athletes alike 134802_177249025643405_100000749253674_455528_2770052_ohave taken on the Spartan Race and finished strong!

Spartan Race has an upcoming race, the longest of our 2011 season and the only one Picture3of it’s kind this year. Known as the Spartan Beast, it will be in Killington, VT and Spartan Chicked will be there in full force and with a team! Comprised of racers from inside and outside the organization, the team is already almost 20 strong and growing every day!  You can join us!   2011 Death Race champion Grace Cuomo Durfee, Death Race participant Katy McCabe, 2010 and 2011 Death Race Finisher Lisa Madden, Georgia Spartan Sprint Racer Stacy Shuler, Spartan Marketing Manager Carrie Adams (Shawty), Spartan Regional Manager Carmella House, and Spartan Digital Media Specialist Maurya Scanlon (MScan), to name a few.  The team has members from across the country!

This race is being billed as, “A 10-12 mile Obstacle Race from Hell. If you have done any race anywhere in the world: whether a mud run, fun run, Olympic run, bike race, death march or any kind of event claiming to be the “toughest race on the planet” you will be happy to know that this is where it ends. THIS IS THE SPARTAN BEAST…Step up and get out of your comfort zone, many will arrive, but few will leave!”

Our Spartan women are up to the challenge! Through a supportive and inspired network, they plan to come and race with their individual goals but as a team. There will even be matching outfits!  The Spartan Chicked uniform and a variety of other Spartan gear will soon be available for sale!  Stay tuned!

Join the Spartan Chicked Movement in Vermont.  If you can’t make the BEAST, our Spartan Chicks race all over the country.  Represent!  Register for an event today!
